Hooray, it's a parade!  Memorial Day is more than the day that you get out the grill and dig your whites out of the closet.  It's a time to honor the active military and veterans who served in the military or lost their lives fighting for this country.  Chicago will be pulling out all stops to honor our military with a Memorial day parade.  It begins at 11:00am with a wreath laying ceremony at Daley Plaza.  The parade starts at noon at Sate Street and Wacker Drive.  The route continues on State Street to Van Buren.  Be sure and come early as this parade draws over 10,000 spectators.  Don't let the parade pass you by!
